What is a Podcast? And other important questions
- What is a podcast?
A podcast is like a radio show, each show includes a series of episodes. The episodes come in the form of an audio file (usually an MP3) that you can download to your computer and listen to whenever you want.
- Are podcasts free?
Yes, absolutely.
- How do I listen to a podcast?
Click play on the audio player. The file will immediately play on your computer and there’s nothing to download. This will not save the file to your computer.
- What if I want to download one particular episode?
- Right-click on the “Download” button for the show you want and select “Save Target As” to save the file to your computer.
- How do I subscribe to a podcast?

I am a retired military wife. The only thing I am qualified to so is teach-employment is stagnant, my husband found a great job where he works on the computer but I am stuck. Can you help me?
