Military Spouse Tara Crooks Interviews Lisa Berg of Operation Hug A Hero

Comments

Mccain voting against veterans benefits time and time again puzzles me. I understand he collects 100% disability, (for him, 58,000 dollars a year.) Somethings stinks here. I thought with 100@ disability, you couldn't work at anything?

This is true for my own father. A Vietnam veteran, he's at 100% disabled and is unable to seek any kind of work for fear of losing his disability. Having said that, he is too incapacitated to do anything, and would never think to defraud the government. Personally, I'd like to know why there are two sets of standards, and why a select few are able to skirt this policy.
