Philpott Sits Down with Obama
August 7, 2009
One of Military.com's benefits experts, Tom Philpott, stops by the Editor's Desk the day after his historic roundtable with President Obama and VA Secretary Shinseki in the White House. What did the president say about the state of veteran's benefits? What's looming on the horizon? And what's it like to sit across the table from the most powerful man on the planet?

Not one word about Chapter 61 Veterans ????? What a shame. How soon they forget there promises.

I think it's time for the chapter 61 Vetterans to stop complaining, I mean after all
your getting all the benefits
with less than 20yrs served
than we Military Retirees with
20+ yrs of Servicce an you don't have to spend 35yrs fighting for your given benefits. I'm still having my VA disability jerked out of my Retired pay dollar for dollar with no end in sight, I've been denied CRSC twice an
I can't get CRDP cause the VA has kept me at 40% since 1992?
be Thankful for the good benefits you have been given!!!
